9/21 | PARK(ing) Day Dallas 2018

PARK(ing) Day Dallas is a FREE annual celebration of space where citizens, artists, designers, organizations & businesses temporarily transform metered parking spaces along Main Street into short-term public “PARK” installations.


9/21-23 | Plano Balloon Festival, Inc.

Celebrating 39 years of ballooning in Plano, Texas the 2018 InTouch Credit Union Plano Balloon Festival is a three-day weekend that offers something for everyone: entertainment on the FOX 4 community stage and KLUV main stage, fireworks show, kids activities, sky divers, and an enormous variety of food, merchandise and handmade products; and of course the incredible hot air balloons.


9/22 – 11/21 | Autumn at the Arboretum

Our fall festival is a spectacular show of color with 4,500 of fall’s favorite flower-Chrysanthemums, along with 150,000 more stunning, fall blooming plants, and our internationally acclaimed Pumpkin Village, featuring more than 90,000 pumpkins, squash and gourds, plus the outstanding Children’s Adventure Garden. Don’t miss this amazing festival and be sure to bring your camera.


9/25 | Otsukimi Moon Viewing Festival 2018

The harvest moon is on the horizon, and we’re over the moon to announce our fifth annual Japanese moon viewing festival, Otsukimi. On Tuesday, September 25, celebrate the full autumn moon at Klyde Warren Park with an evening under the stars and city lights.


9/28 – 10/21 | 2018 State Fair of Texas

At 24 consecutive days, the State Fair of Texas is the longest-running fair in the nation, as well as one of the largest. Through its rich and lengthy history, it remains evident that the State Fair serves not only as an annual celebration but as a unique destination that brings people from all walks of life together to create lifelong memories.


9/29-30 | Gelato Festival Dallas 2018

Gelato Festival is the event where the most incredible gelato flavours created by skilled gelato artisans challenge each other for the title of best gelato in the world. When buy a ticket you will be given a bracelet and a map of the Festival. You can taste all the flavors in the competition as well as special flavors, attend the courses and play games at the most delicious Gelato Village there is. Don’t miss your chance to vote for your favourite flavor!

 10/3-6 | Mecum Dallas 2018

The Mecum Auction Company is the world leader of collector car, vintage and antique motorcycle, and Road Art sales, hosting auctions throughout the United States, and returns to Dallas, Texas with 1,000 vehicles.


 10/6 | Plano Food & Wine Festival

The Plano Food & Wine Festival event features over 100 wines, food from 20 delicious restaurants and food trucks, 4 bands, local artists, beer and cocktails, culinary demos from local chefs , a play zone for kids and over 60 boutiques and shops! The festival is free and family friendly! Wine tastings are $20 for 10 tasting tickets and a signature event wine glass! Food tickets are only $5 each!


10/17-20 | Men’s Fashion Week Dallas

Men’s Fashion Week Dallas Returns! Season 5 is before us and we are so excited to introduce our line of designers, sponsors, influencers, and vendors for our fall/winter production. We have teamed with the Nieman Carlye PR for our biggest production yet. This event series highlights the best of all things Dallas.


10/18 | 5th Annual YP Summit 2018

The YP Summit is an all-day conference focused on developing future leaders by providing 300+ young professionals the opportunity to build relationships, engage in transformative learning opportunities, and interact with civic and business leaders in a top-tier conference setting.


10/20 | McKinney Wine & Music Festival

The McKinney Wine & Music Festival is back! The highlights of the festival include wine from North Texas and California wineries, 3 bands, 100 artisans and boutiques, culinary demonstrations throughout the day, a variety of delicious food from local restaurants and food trucks, a play zone for kids and grape stomping competitions!


10/20 | Dallas / Ft Worth Water Lantern Festival

Water Lantern Festival is an incredible experience where thousands of family, friends, and strangers celebrate life together. 10/26 | Night of Decayed Musicians

This October, Lumedia Musicworks presents an original 60 minute semi-opera in three acts. Artistic director Julianna Emanski and stage director Hilary Grace Taylor have carefully selected and arranged a unique program featuring composers such as Handel, Purcell, Marais, Vivaldi, and Britten. We’re sure this will be the perfect spooky experience for music lovers of all stripes. Join us for “Night of Decayed Musicians” at a special haunted venue – the Sons of Hermann Hall in Deep Ellum.


10/27 | Texas Veggie Fair

Texas Veggie Fair is a FREE annual event celebrating plant-based lifestyle options of every kind. This year’s event will feature vegan food, eco-friendly product vendors, chef demos, speakers, live music, a beer garden, yoga, kids’ activities, and so much more. Texas Veggie Fair is a family- and dog-friendly event open to everyone who enjoys good food and fun. Join us from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, at Reverchon Park in Dallas!


10/27 | 44th Annual Harambee Festival

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center, in conjunction with the 44th Annual Dallas Harambee Steering Committee, humbly invite you to participate in the 44th Annual Harambee Festival, one of the longest running community events established in Southern Dallas. Harambee is an East African Swahili word meaning “Let’s Pull Together” or “Unity.” This year’s theme is “UNITY IN THE COMMUNITY,” encouraging everyone to embrace our differences.

The Dallas Holiday Parade regularly draws crowds of more than 450,000. More than 350 television stations in 159 markets have syndicated the parade. It has become a holiday tradition for thousands of families throughout North Texas and coast to coast.
