Red Oak
Red Oak is in northern Ellis County, twenty-miles south of Dallas and 30-minutes southeast of Fort Worth. Originally named “Possum Trot” because of so many in the area, Red Oak was renamed for the abundant oak trees along its banks. Residents and visitors can explore this outdoor space, as well as support locally owned businesses and restaurants.
