Northwest Dallas

This pocket of Dallas has two distinct sections—residential and commercial. Neighborhoods developed in the late 1950s contain mid-century and ranch-style houses on mid-size lots. Public schools are highly rated and private schools are abundant. Park Forest is known for its community pool. Midway Hills is popular for the Disney Streets whose character-named streets attract high demand.
Korea Town to the west, while mostly commercial, serves the largest Korean community in Texas. If you are looking for wholesale-only fabric and gift stores, cruise down Harry Hines Boulevard.
