Skillup Coalition helps connect workers to in-demand career pathways and training programs in their region that are offered by various organizations. Healthcare training programs include Medical Assistants, Pharmacy Technicians, Phlebotomists. The length of each program varies from 1-2 weeks to 6-month or year-long training programs and costs associated with programs range from $170 to $1,300 depending on the program.

Oak Cliff Works provides free job training and career development opportunities with Methodist Health Systems. Through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on training, and real-world experience, Oak Cliff Works equips individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in today's competitive job market. Students that are accepted will complete a 26-week training program in either PCT (Patient Care Technician) or EMT training. Participants receive personalized support and mentorship throughout their journey, ensuring a smooth transition into the workforce.

Based out of Little Elm, TX All is Well Healthcare Academy provides various healthcare training programs, which range from $500 to $750 and the length of the course can be up to 6 weeks, but with most around 2-4 weeks. Programs offered include the following: CNA, EKG Technician, Certified Phlebotomy Technician, Weekend CNA Program, Weekend Phlebotomy Program. Accepts WIOA grants.

The companion Training Center offers a Nurse Aid training program. This is a 5-week course that costs around $650. Graduates of this program will be able to communicate and interact effectively with patients in attaining and maintaining maximum functional independence, while observing patient rights.

The Dallas Career Institute offers various healthcare programs that range from $750 to $1,850. Courses vary in length from 4 weeks to 6 months. Class times are either morning or evening. Programs offered through the Dallas Career Institute include: CNA, Phlebotomy, Medication Aide, PCT, Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician.

Purpose Education offers a variety of training programs that range from $750 to $1500. Courses include Phlebotomy, EKG, and Medical Billing & Coding which range from 7 to 12 weeks for completion. This program also provides a Dual Credit Course to assist individuals in earning a high school diploma.
