Medical District is home to UT Southwestern Medical Center, Children’s Medical Center, Zale Lipshy University Hospital, and Parkland Hospital, made famous for treating President John F. Kennedy. Next door, Dallas Market Center, The apparel Mart, and the World Trade Center keep shops across the country stocked with wholesale goods. The Infomart houses Wade College and tech-centric offices.
New homes and apartments are springing up in this neighborhood to accommodate the professionals who work in the district. With easy access to Dallas Love Field, this area is also minutes from several entertainment districts including, the Design District, Oak Lawn, Uptown, Victory Park, and Trinity Groves.
