Distinguishing Characteristics: We offer Academies and Programs of Choice for high school students including: BioMed Academy, Law Academy, Academy of Media and Technology, Math Engineering Technology Science Academy, International Business Academy, International Baccalaureate (elementary through high school diploma programme), and an Early College High School. We offer award-winning fine arts programs, including orchestra, band, dance, visual arts, choir, theater, speech, mock trial, debate, and more. Specializations and Program Offerings: We offer a variety of programs to meet the individual needs of each student and their interests, including career and technical programs (vet med, culinary, robotics, auto mechanics, cosmetology, special education, dual credit, AP, GT, STEM, etc.).

Extracurricular: We offer a full array of extracurricular classes, clubs, and programs for all age levels. At the high school level, students have the opportunity to be a part of athletics, fine arts, and more than 100 clubs and organizations.

M&O/I&S Tax Rates and Last Bond Passage: CFBISD passed a $300 million bond in 2003. Through effective fiscal management, the district has been able to fund all renovation projects, allowing us to postpone any additional bond referendums. The general fund (M&O) tax rate is $1.0400. The debt service tax rate is $0.2835. The total tax rate for 2013-14 is $1.3235, the lowest tax rate in more than 20 years. The district is committed to fiscal responsibility, receiving many awards for our efforts.
