Celina

“Life connected” is how Celina describes itself. A small city with a big vision, Celina was established in 1879 when the first postmaster named it after a city in Tennessee. The Collin County city sits about 40-miles north of downtown Dallas.

Residents enjoy a strong sense of community, reasonable cost of living, and proximity to Plano, Frisco, and McKinney, where some of the world’s largest companies are located. Ericsson, Fannie Mae, FedEx, and Frito-Lay are just a few examples.

If you like to explore the world around you – you’ll find plenty of parks, lakes, and trails. For the wine connoisseur, Celina is home to both ‘Eden Hill Winery & Vineyard’ and ‘Caudalie Crest Winery.’ Or, if beer is more your speed, head over to Rollertown Beerworks. Additionally, there are fairs and festivals throughout the year.
