Highland Village

Located in Denton County, Highland Village is a great place for families, with excellent schools, and plenty of outdoor space to take advantage of. It’s surrounded by Lewisville Lake and has an extensive trail system. Incorporated in 1963, Highland Village celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2023. It was founded by Dallas professionals who wanted to “get away” for the weekend. The community saw a population surge in the 1970s.

Today, Highland Village has upscale shopping centers, dining, and recreational activities like woodworking and wine at Board & Brush.
