Deep Ellum
Imagine fitting 140 years of Dallas history, 60 restaurants, 25 music/entertainment venues and more than 30 shops into 0.5 square miles. That’s Dallas’ Deep Ellum neighborhood, a compulsory landing spot for urban adventurers since its founding in 1875.
Those moving to Dallas are increasingly calling Deep Ellum home, for good reason. The neighborhood is a foodie’s dream, with the legendary Pecan Lodge barbecue joint, some of the best ramen in the region, and a burgeoning brunch/cocktail scene.
Even Uber – which announced a major relocation to the neighborhood – realizes Deep Ellum is an up-and-coming city destination for living, eating and drinking.
