Festive Fun is around the corner for the Dallas Region! We put together a list with more than three dozen events and activities showcasing bright lights, falling snow, and jolly tunes. Go enjoy holiday tunes while driving through tunnels with 4 million holiday lights, adore winter flowers, or admire performances held by theatres around the region.

HOLIDAY LIGHTS 

PRAIRIE LIGHTS
Grand Prairie, TX | Nov. 23- Dec. 31 

Located at Lynn Creek Park on Joe Pool Lake, drive through 4 million lights at Grand Prairie’s festive event where halfway through your drive you can stop for their Holiday Village. Gifts, food, Santa, holiday rides and a lighted walk-through forest will draw you and your loved ones for a good time. With new displays of lights each year, each guest is sure to have an unforgettable experience!

MERRY AND BRIGHT CHRISTMAS DRONE SHOW
Grapevine, TX | Dec. 12-Dec. 19 

Watch 200 drones lift and light up the sky over Grapevine’s Main Street. The Christmas Capital of Texas will host this one-of-a-kind experience for eight to nine minutes with treats before, during, and after the performance. 

CHRISTMAS IN THE SQUARE
Frisco, TX | Nov. 18- Jan. 8 

Frisco’s City Square is transformed for the holidays where families, friends, and guests can enjoy shows and holiday lights. Don’t forget your skates! Frisco’s Square also features one of the region’s only outdoor skating rink. The shows and light experience are completely free so don’t miss out on more than 100,000 lights and fun for the family. 

THE LIGHT PARK
Frisco, TX | Nov. 3-Jan. 1 

Enjoy millions of lights synchronized to holiday hits near Frisco’s Christmas in the Square! Drive through “the world’s longest light tunnel” with Instagram-worthy pics, reels, and stories. Want a warm hot chocolate? You’ve got it! Beverages and food items will be available for purchase.  

DALLAS ZOO LIGHTS
Dallas, TX | Nov. 17-Jan. 2 

The Dallas Zoo hosts a wild winter wonderland with more than two million lights, must-see shows, and plenty of festive fun!  

HOLIDAY EXPERIENCES 

COWBOYS CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA 
Frisco, TX | Nov. 19- Dec. 18 

America’s Team hosts its annual Cowboys Christmas Extravaganza! With a show for each Friday and Saturday, featuring The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Dallas Cowboys Rhythm and Blue Dancers and Danceline, Cowboys Rookie squad and much more.  

CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL AT YESTERLAND FARM
Canton, TX | Nov. 24- Dec. 23 

Experience holiday cheer at Yesterland Farm with a petting zoo, train rides, holiday lights, pony rides, Santa photo-ops, yummy food, and a new snow play area. Don’t have your Christmas tree yet? Yesterland Farm sells Christmas trees up to 14 feet in height! Don’t miss out on these memorable experiences. 

HOLIDAY LIGHTS PARADE
Arlington, TX | Dec. 11 

Step into a magical world at the Holiday Lights Parade in Arlington! Have a fun evening with your friends and family as Mayo Jim Ross concludes the parade by lighting up a 65-foot tall Christmas tree at Founders Plaza.   

LATINO CULTURAL CENTER
Dallas, TX | Dec. 12 

Embark on a heartwarming journey of tradition and togetherness with the Latino Cultural Center for their Annual Posada celebration. This event will be free to the public and guests will be given pan dulce and hot chocolate and memories of festive melodies and a spirit of community. 

HOLIDAY THEATER 

EBENEZER SCROOGE
Carrollton, TX | Nov. 24-Dec 23 

The Pocket Sandwich Theatre brings Ebenezer Scrooge for its 41st production in Carrollton’s Historic Downtown. The show is based on the classic, A Christmas Carol, and tells the story of redemption, forgiveness, and the true spirit of the holiday season. 

A CHRISTMAS CAROL
Nov. 25- Dec. 24 

The Tony-Award winning Dallas Theater Center presents their annual showing of A Christmas Carol. This show guarantees a different experience each year leaving families and friends excited to see it again next year! Donations are appreciated at the end of each show and go to the North Texas Food Bank. 

PADDINGTON SAVES CHRISTMAS
Dallas, TX | Dec. 5- Dec. 23 

This holiday season enjoy the Dallas Children’s Theater’s performance by the DCT Academy all-teen cast where Paddington, the famous, accident-prone bear, is here to save the day… and Christmas! 

THE NUTCRACKER
Dallas, TX | Dec. 8-Dec. 10, Dec. 22-Dec. 23 

The Avant Chamber Ballet will perform for the first time The Nutcracker. From December 8-10 and December 22 & 23 the company will perform at the Moody Performance Hall with a live orchestra. 

ESPRESSO NUTCRACKER
Dallas, TX | Dec. 11 

The Dallas Black Dance Academy will be presenting their Espresso Nutcracker performance in-person at The Majestic Theatre and will be available to stream live this holiday season. This performance features sugarplum fairies, holiday magic, and wonderful reimagining of a timeless tale that will bring the merry spirit to you and your loved ones. 

HOLIDAY CONCERTS 

DALLAS SYMPHONY CHRISTMAS POPS 
Dallas, TX | Dec. 1-Dec. 10 

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra will bring delightful shows with classical holiday favorites and sing-along carols. Guests even get the chance to experience snow in Texas at their joyous performances.  

TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA
Fort Worth, TX | Dec. 8 

Head to the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth for The Trans-Siberian Orchestra performance where they will perform all your favorite holiday hits.! 

CHRISTMAS TOUR
Fort Worth, TX | Dec. 20 

The famous a cappella group, Pentatonix, is coming to the area in Grand Prairie for TWO nights singing Holiday favorites for you and your family to enjoy!
