Looking to shop local? Dallas-Fort Worth’s farmers and vendors have a wide variety of organic produce, artisanal honeys, handmade soaps and more for you to try! You can find farmers markets and food stalls in every corner of the metroplex, whether you live in a bustling downtown district or on a quiet suburban cul-de-sac. We’ve compiled a list of our favorite markets below, with location details, operating hours and expert tips to help you find the fresh goods you’re looking for this season.
1. Dallas Farmers Market
Location: 920 S Harwood St., Dallas, TX 75201
Hours: Saturdays, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. | Sundays, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Tip: This market actually has three different parts: The Market, The Shed and The Shops. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., both The Market and The Shops are located inside The Market building, which features an indoor food hall and vendors selling local goods. Only open on weekends (see hours above), The Shed is a more traditional outdoor farmers market experience, featuring Texas farmers and producers.

2. Frisco Fresh Market
Location: 9215 John W. Elliot Dr., Frisco, TX 75034
Hours: Saturdays, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. | Sundays, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Tip: This market regularly features live music! Keep an eye on their social media and website calendar for updates on who’s performing and when.
3. The Clearfork Farmers Market
Location: 4801 Edwards Ranch Rd., Fort Worth, TX 76109
Hours: Saturdays, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Tip: You can join a free all-levels yoga class at 9 a.m. at The Trailhead, right next to The Clearfork Farmers Market. Just be sure to bring your yoga mat and a water bottle!

4. Historic McKinney Farmers Market at Chestnut Square
Location: 315 S. Chestnut St., McKinney, TX 75069
Hours: Saturdays, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. (April – Dec.) | Saturdays, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Jan. – March)
Tip: Every first and third Saturday, you can watch sparks fly at a local blacksmith demonstration. Don’t forget to stop by his shop for traditionally made functional and decorative iron pieces!

5. Farmers Market at Bonton Farms
Location: 6911 Bexar St., Dallas, TX 75215
Hours: Monday – Saturday, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Tip: This is a smaller-scale market, located inside The Coffeehouse at Bonton Farms, featuring handcrafted goods and fresh produce grown from the farms just outside the building. We highly recommend visiting their farm-to-table cafe for warm biscuits and a honey butter latte!

6. Denton Community Market
Location: 317 W. Mulberry St., Denton, TX 76201 (March – Dec.) | 321 E. McKinney St., Denton, TX 76201 (Jan. – Feb.)
Hours: Saturdays, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Tip: While you’ll still find plenty of fresh produce and baked goods, this market also spotlights local artists, with live music performances and vendors selling handmade works of art, from jewelry to woodwork to pottery and more!

7. Coppell Farmers Market
Location: 768 W. Main St., Coppell, TX 75019
Hours: Saturdays, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. (April – Dec.) | Second and fourth Saturdays only from Jan. to March
Tip: If you’re looking for specific goods or producers, you can view and learn about which vendors will attend the upcoming market on their website.

Tip: Founded by an entrepreneur and a pâtissier from France, Four Seasons Markets organizes and supports a network of European-style farmers markets around DFW. Keep an eye on their market schedule to find the next one near you!

9. North Richland Hills Farmers Market

Hours: Monday – Saturday, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. | Sunday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Tip: If you’re looking to spruce up your garden (but don’t want the heat to crisp your new flowers), this market offers premium seasonal bedding plants, hanging baskets and perennials from local Texan nurseries—so you can trust these native plants can withstand the weather!

10. Celina Friday Night Market
Location: 141 N. Ohio St., Celina, TX 75009
Hours: Fridays, 6 – 9 p.m.
Tip: This year, in honor of Celina’s 150th anniversary, the Celina Friday Night Market is offering free raffle drawings for prizes from local businesses, commemorating a tradition from the 1940s and 50s that drew people to explore downtown Celina.
